The Computer & Communications Industry Association submitted remarks on Saturday in response to a request for information on artificial intelligence from the National Science Foundation on behalf of the Office of Science and Technology Policy. According to CCIA, how the federal government covers AI plan may be crucial to maintaining the United States ‘ status as a leader in AI systems. In its remarks, CCIA made the following recommendations for objectives:

  • ensuring that there is enough AI equipment.
  • Adopting a healthy blend of trade power and industry that prevent overrestricting access to foreign businesses.
  • Developing a unified regional approach to AI plan.
  • ensuring data accessibility, including by firmly advocating good use in the United States and other similar exceptions to text and data mining rules around the world.
  • preserving Americans ‘ private without stifling Artificial growth.
  • protecting the development of open-source AI.
