What should we do next?
The Foundation is strengthening ties with four recipients it had invested in the previous year by expanding its support to 12 organisations in 11 countries, including new recipients in Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Over the next two decades, more than 55, 000 people will be positively impacted by base grants, with a focus on career selection initiatives and the development of security and AI skills.
This year, Junior Achievement ( JA ) Americas  ) is one of the Foundation grant recipients. This volunteer, which is also a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, is a leader in empowering young people to work for themselves and start businesses in 26 different Latin American and Caribbean countries.  ,
Nol Zemborain, President of JA Americas, stated,” We are firm in our quest to ensure that more women are competent and empowered to join in the tech industry, particularly in cybersecurity. We recognize that collaboration is essential to making a serious impact.” ” We are thrilled to have received a grant from the Kyndryl Foundation to assist younger Brazilian and Costa Rican women in acquiring essential job skills.”
Additionally, the Foundation has expanded its protracted grants to up to two years to assist grantees in producing a more long-term, more lasting impact.  ,
One of the Foundation’s yearlong grantees this year is NPO Sodateage Online, a nonprofit that promotes Japan’s young adults ‘ financial independence. We were able to coach an additional 188 participants in the last course with an 89 % completion rate as recipients of Kyndryl’s annual grant. This is only an indicator of how much work can be put forth by ‘s Chairperson, Kei Kudo. We are optimistic that our long-term partnership with the Kyndryl Foundation did help us close Japan’s skill gap in security.
