In response to their request for comments on creating an Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) Action Plan, the Center for Data Innovation ( OSTP ) received these comments.

In this surrender, we list seven policy priorities that we believe are most important for the AI Action Plan as well as specific actions the administration should consider.

  1. Facilitate AI Adoption
  2. Prioritize AI for architectural change
  3. Reorient AI Export Controls
  4. Create a nationwide data base
  5. Streamline AI sourcing
  6. Reorient AI management toward evidence-based requirements
  7. Strengthen U.S. influence in emerging businesses
