With billions of currencies being invested in new fog and AI projects, Poland’s digital facilities is expected to expand.
Microsoft is planning to invest PLN 2.8 billion ($ 700 million ) by June 2026, to strengthen the country’s position as an emerging tech hub.
For a portion of the money, the Ministry of National Defense of Poland will work with the organization to improve the government’s cybersecurity systems. According to statistics from Microsoft’s Digital Defense report, digital challenges remain a pressing concern for the nation, which is third in Europe and eighth worldwide in vulnerability to assaults from state-sponsored hackers.
There’s also a plan for a second stage of funding after this round of purchase, though the details haven’t yet been shared.

Microsoft isn’t the only international tech company betting on Poland’s online future. Google is also expanding its reach, investing$ 2 billion in a data center job in 2025.
