AkiraBot is a program that uses AI to populate business comments and customer support chat bots to fill spam messages. Its objective is straightforward: it wants you to sign up for a$ 30 monthly SEO plan. For that small amount, it claims to be able to dazzle Google’s techniques to get you on the front page. However, it’s a con.
A new report from SentinelOne researchers found out how scammers used AkiraBot, how it used OpenAI generated messages, and how it managed to avoid many Login systems and network detection methods. The bot properly spammed 80, 000 of the 420, 000 unique regions that were targeted by the report.
Who runs AkirBot has a number of different titles for their Marketing business, but they all frequently use the words “Akira” or” ServiceWrap.” According to SentinelOne, the device searches websites created by third-party software like Wix or Squarespace and spams feedback sections and integrated chatbots with the promise to put the website on the front page of various search engines. You’ve probably seen texts similar to those sent by AkiraBot if your small business is online or has operated a WordPress-based site in the past 15 years.  ,
